OFFICE RULES 1. The first rule of this office is the Golden rule. Help us to practice this principle. 2. Our purpose as Chiropractors is to serve you faithfully so that you may have a greater degree of health. Cooperate with us in this endeavor. 3. Chiropractors do not perform miracles. They work with natural laws. Time is an essential element. Be patient, allow time for restoration. 4. Chiropractic is a definite Science and Art complete in itself. No drugs or surgical methods are used in our office. While under Chiropractic care, you are expected to refrain from taking any medicine which will interfere with your care. Health comes from within. Some drugs numb or excite the nerves and hinder rather than help health restoration. Surgery and medicine have their place, but we must keep them separate from Chiropractic. 5. Assist your Chiropractor. He is clearing the nerve channels which sets free the Creator’s healing force. Give the Creator a chance to get you well by not further contaminating your body with drugs or medicines. 6. Let your Chiropractor decide when a spinal adjustment should be given. His scientific examinations reveal what should be done. Tell him your symptoms but when his check-up indicates that nerve channels are clearing and only time is required for reparation, follow his instruction. 7. When you are feeling better, tell us; if you are not, also tell us, we want to know any changes that take place – good or bad. Give us the facts so that we may be better able to help you. Expect health and give thanks for better health when it comes. 8. Chiropractic is different in its approach to disease. Its terminology is different. Its methods are different. Progress is different. Respect the Chiropractic mode of practice; cooperate always for the best results. 9. This office expects your cooperation in observing these rules and of assuming your responsibility for service. We therefore reserve the right to dismiss your case at any time it becomes apparent that you are not willing to give this cooperation. 10. You are expected to read and reread these office rules until you are familiar with their import. Then follow through to the best of your ability. When in doubt follow rule Number One for better guidance. Cooperation helps everyone. YOU DO YOUR BEST AND WE WILL DO OURS. RULES TO BE OBSERVED DURING SPINAL CORRECTION: 1. Health cannot be injected into the body by puncturing the skin, or fed into the body by swallowing powders, capsules or liquids, possibly temporary relief, but not health. Health can only come from within the body.Implanted within man is all the machinery required to develop the digestive juices, the insulin, the cortisone, and all the thousand and one things he needs every day to keep him healthy. And this machinery works perfectly so long as the nerve channels are free to carry their vital impulses. One of the first things you should overcome is fear. Fear kills more people than does the disease they fear and it makes the suspense worse. All elements of health are within your body at all times struggling for expression. Spinal nerve interference is the usual hindrance to this expression and results in disease. Chiropractors find and correct this basic cause. When that is accomplished, improved health is the Natural consequence.
