I owe my life to upper cervical chiropractic. I was first introduced to it in 2007 by Miguel Park when I had a muscle spasm in my lower back. The history of my lower back pain spans all the way back to my early childhood. It was something that began as a mild discomfort, and eventually grew to slip disks to pain running down my right leg. I learned to manage the pain and simply lived with it throughout high school and college. To me, lower back pain was such a common complaint amongst everyone, that I just simply thought it was normal. I couldn’t have been more wrong. And, it was in 2007 when I suffered a debilitating pinch nerve muscle spasm in my lower spine that caused me to be literally “glued to the ground”. What I mean by that is the pain was so excruciating that I couldn’t even sit up because the weight of my body was causing unbelievable pain in my lower back. For several days, I was bound to a crutch and had to crawl on my hands and knees to use the restroom. That was the height of my suffering, and immediately after I began upper cervical treatment. I’ll have to be honest; the results were not immediate whatsoever. However, over a period of time, I soon realized that I hadn’t complained about my lower back pain in quite some time. Granted, I was not cured, as every now and then I would have some re-occurring discomfort. But it was nothing like the pain that I had experienced for so many years before. In fact, to date, I have not needed another treatment since my initial 6 month treatment. Since then, I can honestly say that I’m not cured, but I’m leap-years from where I was 3 years ago. I owe my life and health to upper cervical chiropractic. -Mike K.
