The Power Within.
Saturday, 10 April 2010 15:53

Many people relinquish their power to choose what is best for them to the fears, doubts and anxiety brought on by life.  When we make decisions based on uncertainty it ultimately has a negative outcome that puts us in a worse situation.

Likewise, the decision to take control of our health has been taken away for many people.  We have been told that health is found in pills and formulas.  We are told that medicine, surgery, and adjunct therapies are the only cure for whatever ails us.  We have been conditioned to think that without doing exactly what the "experts" tell us that we are endangering our livelihood.

There is nothing free and easy in life.  If you want to be rich you must work.  If you want to be smart you must study.  If you want to be healthy then you must commit to a lifestyle that will allow you to be healthy.

Health is not found in a pill, potion or therapy.  Health is a natural state of being when every system, organ, tissue and cell are working at an optimum level.  That can only happen when the nervous system, which governs and regulates everything in the body, is properly communicating with every cell in the body.  Yes, we can assist our nervous system by eating well, exercising, and keeping our minds in a positive state, but the basis of our health comes from within.  It is what keeps your heart pumping, lungs breathing and brain thinking.  It allows your immune system to fight off viruses and lets you smile when you enjoy a pleasurable experience.  It is what gives you life.

We did not evolve through millions of years to come to a point where now we must rely on modern medicine to be healthy.  On the contrary, we have evolved all those millions of years so that we don't need modern science to aid in our survival, we evolved so that we can do it on our own, the way God intended us to do so from the beginning.

It is time to take back what is yours and make a stand to do what is best for you.

Strength of Immunity
Thursday, 08 April 2010 17:05

Many people have been conditioned into thinking that we must do something in order to strengthen our immune system.  That by injecting ourselves with vaccines will allow us to become resistant to the viruses out there.  This is all a lie.  New research points to the fact that vaccines are counter productive to our health and immunity.

Does Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Increase the Risk of Illness with the 2009 A/H1N1 Pandemic Virus?
Viboud C, Simonsen L (2010) Does Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Increase the Risk of Illness with the 2009 A/H1N1 Pandemic Virus? PLoS Med 7(4): e1000259. doi:10.1371/journal.pmed.1000259

Care to guess what the study found? In short, it found that people who received the seasonal flu vaccine shot in 2008 were up to 274% more likely to be infected by H1N1 swine flu than those who skipped the season flu shots.

The strength of our immunity is dependent on how well our immune system functions.  The level at which our immune system functions is dependent on the system that regulates the immune system.  That system is the nervous system.  When the nervous system is functioning properly, all other systems work properly.  When there is interference to the nervous system, ALL other systems suffer as well as the immune system.

Ask yourself this, "why do some people never get sick, but others seem to be sick all the time? What is the difference between health and disease?"  You can take away the environment, diet, exercise and stress, but the one thing that will impact your overall state of health is YOUR nervous system.

Get yours checked.

The Nervous System
Thursday, 18 March 2010 18:26

I cannot specify the importance of the nervous system enough.  It regulates EVERY function within the body.  Every thought, action, emotion, sense, and system is controlled and maintained by this system.  Within this system comes the power of life, health and well being.  When function of the nervous system is at 100%, the byproduct is 100% function of every system within the body.  That means your cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, immune, nervous and healing systems are functioning PROPERLY.  That is the way we were designed.

Health is a normal state.  It is abnormal to be sick and diseased, but we have been conditioned to think that we are inferior beings born with many problems.  We have been conditioned to think that without medicine we will die.  In rare cases, yes.  But in all cases, that is absurd.  Do not believe this.

Yes, there are those who have disabilities that hinder their quality of life, but even they have an innate intelligence that dictates how everything must function within them.  Everyone can function at 100% no matter what physical abilities one may lack.  Everyone can live a healthy balanced life, free of sickness and disease.  It is our God given right.  It is the way we were created.

B.J. Palmer Quote

“Dis-ease is an intermediate declining stage somewhere between life and death. Health is an intermediate returning inclining stage somewhere between death and life. Life is 100% mental impulse flow. Death is 0% flow of mental impulse supply. Dis-ease is an intermediate declining degree between one and the other. As mental impulse flow reduces and declines, life reduces and declines, and death increases and inclines; dis-ease being some intermediate degree between one and the other. As mental impulse flow increases and inclines, life increases and inclines, and dis-ease decreases and declines, health being some intermediate degree between one and the other."

Living the Lifestyle
Thursday, 04 February 2010 23:29

It is important for you to understand that focusing on one aspect of your life in order to bring balance to it is not possible.  For instance, having your neck adjusted will alleviate the pain, improve posture, increase function in all systems in your body, but if you choose to rely on only that you can never achieve a healthy life and be in balance.

There are many aspects that an individual must address in order to live well.  One must eat the proper foods that provide the body with the necessary nutrients to allow the body to function properly.

One must also, find time to be active so that our bodies do not become rigid from inactivity.  Movement also allows us to push lymph through the lymphatic system which relies on our motion to help it along.  Without it our immune system suffers.

We must also find time throughout the day to bring peace to our mind and bodies.  In our everyday lives we are bombarded by stress.  It is everywhere.  Whether it is deadlines, traffic, appointments, homework, bills, etc. we are constantly putting demands on our bodies which is having a detrimental effect on our well being.  Take time in these moments to center yourself.  Take a few deep breaths and relax.  The stress will still be there but at least you can take on the stress with a little less tension.

We must all be grateful for this opportunity given to us to live an existence that is truly incredible, but what good is life if we can't enjoy it.  Take the necessary steps to improve your life.  Stop being the victim and take control.  Don't let stress and unhealthy choices force you into a position where you now have to focus energy  in order to come into balance.  Get in balance and stay there.  That is the key to a wonderful and successful life.
